Boniwe Angel Jack

Hi, my name is Boniwe Angel Jack, I'm a third year student in Arts faculty. I'm studying BA in Language and Communication, in UWC.
I'm one of the people who are so fortunate to be USSAS Bursary beneficiaries, and having an opportunity to meet and work with Prof. Wolf. One of the people I regard as my role models because I know him, I've had a contact with him and from observing his personality, I learnt somethings about him and in life. His good heart have thought me that really one hand washes another hand and it is a good thing to do something for others. When I first got in UWC I had no finance but, I told myself that I will persue my career and my dream, not even finance will stop me from doing so. And yet I was right, looking back form where I came form and to where I am today with the financial support I got I regard myself as a survivor and as my hero. USSAS bursary encouraged me to work hard in my studies, and to know what I want in life, because life is a journey and if you want success out of it, you have to work hard.
Though I have other interests in life such as dealing/working with HIV/AIDS project, with the experience that I have from attending the workshops I will be able to do that and it will bring me more to the commnunity and its social issues or problems. Because thats where my heart is (working with people as a youth and as a South African I'm affected) therefore it will mean a lot for me to make the difference in other people's lives. And I'm greatful for everything in my life. All I'm hoping for this year is to see my succuess and praying in God to spare me so that I can see my wishes happening in reality.
Thank you B.A. Jack
