Carol Zuma

"I am engaged at Excelsior Place of Safety as a child and youth care worker. It is a place for young people who are awaiting trials. I implement a lot of programmes specifically for them. I have done a lot of counseling sessions with the boys. The main reason is that I like to do one on one discussions with the boys. By doing that I find it easy to find out what is bothering a young person and that is where counseling takes place. Most of the people in my community know where my house is because I am a sensitive person who likes to help people a lot. The reason for that is because my parents left me and my brothers when I was young so I did help myself and my brothers to grow. With people like you, Robert, you did make our dreams come true and I would like to thank you for that."
