Family background:
I am coming from a poor family of 5 members. We still have no proper home to stay but now is under construction in rural areas. My mother died in 1986.
What problems does your community face?
Since I’m staying in rural areas, most of my community people are still backward, illiterate, and not well organized.
How can you help solve the problems?
At the moment I’m engaging in many activities with my companions to try to organize my community. Activities like farming, political structures, fundraising through sports activities for disabled, providing shelters (tents) for the homeless, etc.
What interest you most about your chosen career?
I am interested in this career because it will provide me with skills to serve the community efficiently and effectively and be accountable to it through engaging in activities of governmental institutions and to try to promote community welfare.
How do you see your future career in a changing South Africa?
As a public administrator I think one should realize that it is important to be accountable to the public, especially in striving for democratic government institutions in tenure of decision making processes.
What student/community organizations are you a member of?
I am a member of South African National Student Congress here in U.D.W. branch and also a member of Sayco (Unitata branch).
