Sydney Madlala

no picture

Firstly I am going to buy stationary and since I live very far I will use the other money for transportation during the holidays then the other money I will use it for any academic needs.

My name is Sydney Siphiwe Madlala, I come from the Transvaal in Katlehoug in the East Round.  I am living with my grandmother, my parents are living separate lives because they did not marry.  So basically I am an illegitimate child.  However we are plenty at home only my grandmother see to it that we eat something every day.

The monthly income per month is R800.00 and out of it my little brother and sisters have to use it for schooling and the other money is for food, so I do not get much out of it.

During my primary and secondary level my schooling was very much satisfying and I had a dream of going to the University, however, I did succeed.  But things are different here because one needs to be comfortable with accommodation and financially good, so I started by facing this problem when I came here.  So during my first year it was difficult for me but I hope things will be okay if I can get more help from you.

My community involvement is outlined clearly in the BLACK STUDENTS AID document of shich Mr. Pru Singh has it.

Thank you very much I trust that you will help me in the future.
